I’ve just come back from Abney Hall where, for a very brief time, the developers, land owner, Sainsbury’s and their PR company are showing their plans for the site. One of the people there assured me that all of the information would be on the Wilmer Place website “probably tomorrow” but I couldn’t wait that long so here it is.

There will be an opportunity to register your views and concerns about this project at a consultation on Friday and Saturday. The consultation is being organised by the developer (Newmark Property Investments) and Sainsbury’s PR company (Four Communications).

We strongly encourage everyone to go down to Abney Public Hall to find out more about the development, talk to the developers, raise any concerns that you have and ask them searching questions about the implications of their proposal. It will also be an excellent opportunity to talk to friends and neighbours from all over the Stoke Newington community and find out what their concerns are.
